Corn and Spinach Pizza

Who says pizza can't be healthy?
One of my favourite Italian Pizza is Corn and Spinach with basil and mushrooms. It's simply delicious with amazing flavours and lots of healthy vegetables, multigrain pizza base, olive oil , protein rich cheese ,and mineral rich tomatoes too! Enjoy !

How to Make It

1. Step

First, heat 2 tsp olive oil in a pan. Add chopped garlic, saute' well. Then saute' onions, tomatoes for 2 minutes.

2. Step

Then add tomato puree, 1 tsp sugar, salt, 2 tablespoons water and cook the sauce till thick. Remove and keep ready at room temperature.

3. Step

Preheat oven at 200°c for 10 minutes. Till then arrange the pizza base on a lined baking tray.

4. Step

Heat a pan and add 1 tsp olive oil. Saute' the spinach and corn kernels for 2 minutes. Add mushrooms and mix well.

5. Step

Season with salt pepper, Italian seasonings, Chilli flakes. Add cherry tomatoes and coat well

6. Step

Spread the sauce on pizza base. Add the prepared vegetables on top and spread well.sprinkle cheese on top. Top with olives and basil leaves.

7. Step

Bake for 10 minutes till the top is crusty and cheese melts.(If pizza base is fully cooked, grill it instead of baking.)

8. Step

When done, take out, slice, add oregano, chilli flakes and serve with your favourite sauce. Enjoy delicious Cheesy corn and Spinach Pizza!


  • 1 cup Blanched Spinach (see recipe)
  • 1 cup Boiled corn kernels (see recipe)
  • 10 Cleaned, sliced and sauteed mushrooms (see recipe)
  • 5-6 Sliced cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese grated
  • 2 Multigrain Pizza bases (soft baked and store bought)
  • 10 basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • as per taste Black pepper, Italian seasonings,chilli flakes
  • as needed Organo, salt and sugar
  • 10-12 Olives
  • 2 Chopped red tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Chopped garlic
  • 2 Chopped onions small
  • as needed Water
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato puree
