Part 5 of the How to Lose Weight In A Week Video Series – Pack Your Lunch Everyday For Work
Let’s discuss the importance of packing a lunch to take with you to work. This may seem like a simple idea yet you may be surprised at the number of people who do not take a lunch with them when they go to work. Many simply rely on the workplace cafeteria or go out for a fast food meal when it comes time for lunch. This can lead to a meal that is not healthy or conducive to weight loss which is something you definitely do not want to do on a daily basis.
When you have direct control of what you eat while away from home, you have total control over the choices. Taking a healthy lunch with you to work will take away the need to ever go out and get a burger, fries, and a soda on your break. Your packed lunch will be five times healthier and most likely cost a lot less too! Dinner leftovers in travel containers make great “to go” lunches. You can find a 5-pack of small plastic containers for around $3 at your supermarket, and if you take care and wash regularly after using them, they will last for a long time.
If you have access to a microwave at work, there are a number of healthy frozen meals you should check out such as Lean Cuisine or Weight Watchers. You may be really surprised at how good they taste and the wide variety of options offered.
