Best yet, you may be able to create 3-5 travel bags from this one fruit-cutting session so you’ll have future snacks ready to go.
Mix Fruit With Cottage Cheese or NonFat Yogurt
For some reason by adding sliced pieces of fruit to non-fat yogurt or cottage cheese, you create a delightfully tasty way to enjoy a healthy snack. Try it sometime and you may find it a fantastic alternative to the potato chips and soda option.

An easy way to change the taste of plain fruit is to mix with yogurt and freeze. You can make individual frozen yogurt fruit “dips” that you can even toss in a sandwich bag to take with you as a travel snack.
Fruit Cut Outs For Kids
If you have young children in your house and you want to get them eating fruit more regularly, one easy way to accomplish this is to cut the fruit into fun shapes and designs. Cookie cutters work great for this and will help make a plain plate come to life with heart and star shape fruit designs (add nonfat yogurt or cottage cheese too).
